It has been 3 weeks since the wedding and I think I am still exhausted! The wedding went off without a hitch and we had a fabulous trip to Puerto Vallarta (I'll be blogging about both soon.) We are really looking forward to not having much planned these next few weeks and sort of just relaxing and getting our lives back in order. I think Fall, and especially the month of September, is my favorite time of the year because as far as I can remember, the weather is always perfect (beautiful, but not too hot) and of course, Scott and I are HUGE football fans and September marks the kick-off of football season.
On Thursday, we went on an office cruise that was put on by my work. It was the perfect day for a cruise. The food and drinks were great, and we got to sail all around Lake Washington. We went by the Medina area and got to see all the big houses, including Bill Gates'. All I can say is "wow."

Yesterday was a somewhat monumental day, because both of our teams (UW Huskies and his UGA Bulldogs) won their games on the same day. This has not happened in forever, and in fact, I think the last time it happened was September 23, 2006. The reason I remember this is because this was the day Scott proposed to me. We had been sitting around the house all day in our sweats watching football and I knew he had the ring. I kept bugging him to let me see it just for a second. Finally, he was like, "I'll just propose." So he did. So romantic, huh? Well, it was perfect for us because we were at home doing what we love. :-)
The win yesterday by UW is giving me hope that this season is one to look forward to. Let's hope!
I stole this pic from Vess, who went to the game yesterday. Go DAWGS!!
