Thanksgiving and Christmas 2009

The holidays are over and again, they seemed to go by so fast!  Although we were sad we weren't able to travel to Georgia this year to see Scott's family, it was nice not having to deal with any airports or airline travel around the hectic holiday season! For Thanksgiving, my parents and niece came over, and Jason cooked us another fabulous Thanksgiving meal.  As always, we were stuffed!

Seriously, this turkey belongs in a Martha Stewart magazine.  Look how perfect it is!

You can always count on Scott to make some great faces.

I had to post this picture just to show our contribution to the Thanksgiving meal...that humongous Costco pecan pie.

For Christmas, we drove over to Moses Lake and we were very thankful that there was no snow on the pass, at all.  In fact, it was a beautiful, sunny drive.  Again, Jason cooked a delicious prime rib Christmas dinner and then the next day, we opened presents with Traye, Lori, and the kids.

Jason did it again!  This time, prime rib.

Not only was this our first married Christmas, but on December 26th, we celebrated our 1-year anniversary with Shiloh.  I wanted to deck her out in an entire Santa Claus outfit, but Scott wouldn't let me.  So, the hat and scarf was all I was allowed.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
