Our life lately

We have been having so much fun lately!  Luckily, we have all recuperated from our sickness and have managed to stay healthy.  I swear, Decker is really developing a personality and he makes us laugh all the time!  He LOVES cuddling with anything...and when I say anything, I mean everything from his stuffed animals to his blanky to a pair of socks.  LOL.  He will just grab whatever it is and put it up against his face and neck and cuddle.  He still loves cuddling with us too, which is a bonus.  :-)

He also is becoming quite the little helper.  He loves wiping up in the kitchen and the other day, he helped me unload the dishwasher by handing me each utensil and he was so proud of himself.  He also likes to pretend to pick things up off the floor and throw them away, and always has to clap for himself after doing it.  And to top it all off, he has even shown an interest in folding laundry.  Let's hope his interest in this housework continues.

Another thing that really seems to have blossomed in the last couple weeks is his talking.  He now says a variety of words.  He has said "ball, bath, book, dis (this), ho ho ho, whoa" and my favorite noise he makes is "bzzzzzz."  He loves playing with his big bouncy ball and has figured out how to throw it against things and make it bounce and just chase it around the house.  Unfortunately, he's also learned how to throw it at Shiloh.  We'll have to get that straightened out.

Oh, and he loves Clifford the Big Red Dog.  It's kind of become our nightly routine to let him watch it while Scott and I eat dinner.  Tonight, he just sat in his chair and watched while we ate.  How peaceful.

I have taken a hiatus from picture-taking, but here are a few videos and phone pics.

He likes to use the wrong end of the spoon often...or just his hands

We took him to the park this weekend and he was really mesmerized by the water coming in and out on the beach
