I took the day off from work today and took Decker to the Washington State Fair. It was pretty awesome because it wasn't busy at all. We didn't have to wait in line for any of the rides or food or anything. He's been looking forward to this day for the last week. In fact, this morning he walked into my bathroom while I was getting ready and said, "Guess what todaaaay is??"
He loved all the rides, but his favorite one was the motorcycles (as you can see from the pictures.) He told me he was doing really cool tricks on them. The weather was great. In fact, it was so great that I ended up with a sunburn. Who would have thought I would get sunburned in September?
These photos were all shot with my Fuji X100T. I'm starting to develop a love/hate relationship with that camera. I love the fact that it's so compact and the auto white balance is ah-maaazing. But I seem to be missing focus in quite a few shots, so I just don't think it's quick enough for a lot of the shooting I do of the kids. Some of the photos are out of focus, but I wanted to keep them just because I wanted record of Decker's "cool motorcycle moves."
